Illinois community colleges have partnered with high schools to implement Pathways To Results (PTR) toward stronger Programs of Study (POS) from ninth grade through postsecondary settings. In this session, members from the Office of Community College Research and Leadership (OCCRL) will report tentative results from a study investigating partnerships, identifying factors that contribute to strong high school-community college engagement and PTR elements that high schools have incorporated into their school improvement processes. Also, high school and community college leaders will describe in-depth how the PTR process fosters their effective partnership.
