Julie attended Illinois State University and received her M.S. from Eastern Illinois University. She has been teaching FCS at Plainfield South High School for six years and has taught numerous classes including Foods and Nutrition, Child Development, Advanced Child Development, Parenting, as well as Clothing and Textiles I/II. Her specialty and passion is for teaching Child Development classes which includes a preschool program for children in the community.
